Custom Watershapes Inc. works with property management companies, HOA and condominium boards, and developers across Broward County and southern Palm Beach County on commercial pool remodeling, resurfacing, tile replacement, and new construction. We’re licensed as a Commercial Pool/Spa Contractor in Florida (CPC1459173), and we’ve built and remodeled pools for HOA and condominium properties — including elevated pool remodels — across the communities we serve.
Most of our commercial work starts with the pool surface. We refinish commercial pool interiors with Diamond Brite, pebble, tile, and Florida Stucco finishes, and we replace pool tile — waterline tile, coping tile, and step tile — on its own or as part of a larger remodel. Which finish is right for a given pool depends on the project and any applicable requirements; not every finish or color is suited to every commercial application.
The right scope depends on what we find once we can look at the pool. A surface that’s reached the end of its service life may only need resurfacing. A pool with failing tile, aging coping, or deck problems alongside the finish usually calls for a coordinated remodel covering more than one of those at once. We evaluate the existing conditions and your property’s goals before recommending a scope, rather than assuming every project needs the same amount of work.
We understand that a board or ownership group needs a clear scope and a proposal they can review and approve before anything begins — not a verbal estimate. We put together a written proposal describing the work, so your board has something concrete to evaluate.
We know pool closures affect residents, and we talk through anticipated closure with you as part of planning a project, so your community has a realistic expectation going in. We communicate with the board or property manager throughout the project and coordinate scheduling around your property’s needs.
We build new commercial pools for developers and property owners, and we’re licensed in Florida as a Commercial Pool/Spa Contractor (CPC1459173) for that work. Our role covers the pool construction itself — equipment installation, interior finishes, perimeter and filter piping, and equipment room construction — coordinated with your architect, engineer, and the other professionals your project requires. Water and sewer line connections are handled by the appropriate licensed trade as part of that coordination.
Our commercial work includes remodeling elevated pools, with experience addressing the requirements of these existing installations on HOA and condominium properties.
We don’t perform structural engineering or waterproofing design ourselves — those are handled by the licensed engineers and specialists your project requires, and we coordinate our pool work around them. Through that coordination, we’re well versed in Basecrete waterproofing systems, though that familiarity doesn’t substitute for a project-specific engineering assessment or guarantee structural performance.
We evaluate the proposed work and coordinate applicable safety upgrades, permitting, and inspections within the project scope.
Depending on your property’s pool and the scope of work, that can include items like depth markers, handrails, ladders, drain and entrapment protection, and accessibility features where applicable — confirmed against your specific pool and project, not assumed to be identical from one property to the next. Not every commercial finish, including every Diamond Brite color, suits every application, and we’ll talk through what’s appropriate for your pool as part of scoping the work.

Do you work with HOAs and property management companies?
Yes. We regularly work with HOA boards, condominium associations, and property management companies on pool remodeling, resurfacing, and new construction.
Can you replace tile and resurface a pool in the same project?
Yes. Tile replacement and interior resurfacing are commonly done together, and we’ll confirm the right scope once we’ve evaluated your pool.
Is Diamond Brite an option for commercial pools?
Diamond Brite is one of the interior finishes we install, along with pebble, tile, and Florida Stucco finishes. Whether it’s the right choice for your specific pool and application is something we confirm during scoping — not every finish or color suits every commercial pool.
Will the pool need to close, and what affects the schedule?
Most remodeling and resurfacing work requires the pool to close for the duration of the project. The length of closure depends on the scope of work and the condition we find once work begins. We’ll talk through the anticipated timeline as part of planning your project.
Do you handle new commercial pool construction?
Yes. We build new commercial pools under our Commercial Pool/Spa Contractor license (CPC1459173).
Do you have experience with elevated pools?
Yes. Our commercial work includes remodeling elevated pools on HOA and condominium properties.
What information should we provide to request a proposal?
